Acamar Films will be partnering with leading children’s charity NSPCC for this year’s Childhood Day, with "Bing" joining the charity’s 2022 fundraising efforts to help keep children safe. Childhood Day is the charity’s flagship day of fundraising that brings everyone in the UK together to protect children. Whether it’s by fundraising, donating, volunteering at a collection, or taking action, the NSPCC is asking people to play their part.

“We are excited to be working with NSPCC for their Childhood Day campaign,” said Caroline Payne, Senior Marketing Manager at Acamar Films. “'Bing' is a celebration of all aspects of pre-school life and is a great partner for NSPCC’s wonderful Big Breaktime initiative, which focuses on play and childhood. We are honoured to play our part in support of this very important cause.”

On Friday 10 June, nurseries and schools around the country will be downing tools for NSPCC’s Big Breaktime initiative, raising money to help keep children safe. ‘Bing’s Big Breaktime’ resources will be available for early years establishments across the UK to download from a resource page once they sign up to take part in the day. The Bing activities include craft, colouring and games for little ones to enjoy during their break. The campaign will reach out to 10,000 nurseries, who will have a chance to win Bing prizes, and the fun will extend across Bing’s digital and social channels with an online Childhood Day party.

Louise McCourt, Senior Strategic and Commercial Partnerships Manager at NSPCC commented: “NSPCC are delighted to partner with Acamar Films to celebrate Childhood Day this year. Knowing how strongly young children connect with and enjoy 'Bing', we hope that by offering these themed resources to early years and nurseries, we will be closer towards our goals of looking after children and protecting every childhood.”
