AUTO PLUS TELEVISION ACQUIRES PRIME ENT. GROUP’S “THE PERFECT CAR”

The deal will give the network rights to 20 hours worth of content related to the show, spanning 98 440minute episodes. Prime has prioritized sales of motor programs to large broadcasters in the European and North American regions.

Prime Entertainment Group has secured a sale with Auto Plus Television Russia for the series “The Perfect Car.” “It is a satisfaction to continue a successful business relationship with Auto Plus Television Russia and the Red Media Group,” Alexandra Marguerite, Prime’s Head of Sales, said. “We are thrilled to bring our longtime partner new content of high quality and hope to develop more and more our partnership in the future.”

The deal consists of a large package revealing 20 hours' worth of content from the show, which spans 98 44-minute episodes. The French distributor has contributed a generous amount of motors programs to major channels in Europe and North America, such as the series “Graveyard Carz,” “Test Drive,” “The Legend of the Mustang,” and “Aston Martin, so British.”

Auto Plus Television Russia has served as a leading motorsports network for nearly 15 years. The channel forms part of Red Media Group, one of the largest TV production companies in Russia, as well as the CIS countries and the Baltic states. A longtime partner of Prime, the two companies have sealed numerous entertainment and lifestyle content deals.

“The Perfect Car” features two charismatic hosts as they search for the best-used cars deals. The show has been sold in many territories, and most recently to French audiovisual group Mediawan for its specialized channel Automoto.
