Endemol Shine Brasil, a Banijay Americas company, launched the second phase of Banijay Futuro, a training and employability initiative empowering young audiovisual talents. In partnership with Instituto Criar, the program offers hands-on sessions with Endemol Shine Brasil executives, immersing students in reality show production and development.

“We’re thrilled by the success of the first edition,” says Caroline Dibe, Head of ESG at Endemol Shine Brasil. “Banijay Futuro bridges the gap between aspirations and professional careers. We’ve already hired two participants and look forward to hiring more talent this season.”

“We believe in transforming the world around us,” says Nani Freitas, CEO of Endemol Shine Brasil. “Banijay Futuro contributes to a more diverse and innovative audiovisual industry."

”For Endemol Shine Brasil’s HR department, the initiative identifies and recruits talent aligned with the company’s values. We break down barriers for young people entering the job market,” explains Viviane de Almeida, HR Manager. “Banijay Futuro helps us track and hire talent based on values, purpose, and skills.”

Banijay Futuro is a core part of the company’s ESG strategy, focusing on youth training and employability while supporting Brasil’s audiovisual sector. This phase builds on the success of the first edition, which impacted almost 100 participants over the course of the year through studio visits, as well as a reality show workshop for more than 20 students, and continues to develop talent in business strategy, content creation and production planning.

This edition of the workshop will be attended by 25 students from the Instituto Criar de TV, Cinema e Novas Mídias, who will gain exclusive access to industry professionals and insights into various formats. The program offers practical learning, mentoring and career development.

Quezia Dias and Beatriz Bezerra, now part of the production team, join through the program’s employability pillar. They contribute to shows like The Masked Singer Brasil and MasterChef Brasil, gaining hands-on experience in production roles.“Banijay Futuro opens eyes to the world behind reality shows,” says Quezia Dias. “For young people from underserved backgrounds, this experience is transformative.”

"Endemol is a key strategic partner of Instituto Criar, offering concrete opportunities for our young people to enter the job market. Since last year, the reality show workshop developed in partnership with the company—especially with Carol Dibe—has been essential in broadening the students' knowledge and preparing them for different challenges in the industry," says Luma Reis, Job Placement and Continuing Education Coordinator at Instituto Criar.

The program is supported by Instituto Criar, founded by TV host Luciano Huck in 2003. With over 2,900 youth empowered through its training program, the partnership with Endemol Shine Brasil, started in 2023, strengthens the initiative’s social and industry value.
