Beyond Rights announces that seasoned executive Sarah Bickley has joined the team as SVP sales, responsible for both the Nordics region and for the digital exploitation of the company’s catalogue, with an initial focus on expanding its business with AVOD platforms.

Beyond Rights’ CEO, Kate Lewellyn-Jones, comments: “We are delighted to welcome Sarah to the team. She brings such fantastic depth and breadth of experience, derived from working with both distributors and producers, so will undoubtedly prove to be a real asset as we continue to expand the Beyond Rights business. We are especially pleased to now have a senior executive who can really focus on the increasing digital opportunities for our catalogue. We are already growing this area of our business, but Sarah will quickly help us take it to the next level, making sure all our IP is fully optimised.”

Sarah Bickley adds: “Now feels like a really exciting time to join Beyond Rights. The company has a rich catalogue, enviable roster of producer partners and an enthusiastic and close-knit team that revels in being part of a wider international group. The fact that the team is also mostly back working in the office has proved a real bonus for me in my first few days. I am not only thrilled to be back focusing on the Nordics region, one of my favourite territories, but also relish the opportunity to spearhead Beyond Rights’ sales strategy in the rapidly evolving digital space.”

Sarah joins from Tin Roof Media, where she was responsible for the distribution operations of Blink Films and Outline Productions, which included helping to secure deficit funding for unscripted content. Prior to that, she spent more than 15 years at Hat Trick International, selling scripted, factual and formats to a variety of territories including Scandinavia, France, the US and Canada, as well as to global SVOD platforms.
