"Hotel Paranormal"
International production studio, rights business and channel operator Blue Ant Media announced at APOS that it has expanded its partnership with Foxtel through the launch of "HauntTV" and "Love Pets" as linear channels on iQ4 and above (IP only), along with companion content across all Foxtel VOD services. The new channels are now available to Foxtel subscribers. This deal builds on Blue Ant Media’s existing relationship with Foxtel, complementing the natural history programming it already supplies via the "NatureTime" brand.
Jon Penn, Managing Director, Asia Pacific, Blue Ant Media highlighted the deal as a way for the content to expand the boundaries of its reach: "These recent launches have significantly expanded the reach of our curated pets and paranormal programming on "Love Pets" and "HauntTV" to Foxtel’s audience. The channels and content included in this deal exemplify Blue Ant Media’s agility and solutions-based approach to offering great content for our partners across all platforms in the Asia Pacific region," stated.
"HauntTV", a channel dedicated to paranormal-themed programming, features series like "Haunted Case Files", following ghost hunters and mediums as they recount their most terrifying experiences; "Hotel Paranormal", narrated by actor and paranormal enthusiast Dan Aykroyd, which tells real-life stories of otherworldly encounters in hotels; "Eli Roth Presents: A Ghost Ruined My Life", where the modern horror master introduces chilling accounts of people haunted by spirits; and "Scariest Night of My Life", which captures true, unsettling supernatural encounters.
Meanwhile, "Love Pets" offers heartfelt content focused on animals and pet lovers, including "The Bizarre Pet Vets", about Australian veterinarians treating unconventional but beloved pets; "Hope for Wildlife", which follows conservationist Hope Swinimer and her team as they rehabilitate wild animals; and "Work on the Wild Side", a documentary about British vets and volunteers who move to South Africa to help rescue and care for iconic wildlife.
