Cineflix Rights has acquired four new factual series from the UK and North American producers. “As we strategically shift to launching new series on a year-round basis,” Richard Life, Head of Acquisitions Cineflix Rights said. “We’re delighted to be adding these new titles from existing and new producer partners to our catalog and introducing them this summer to our buyers.

The series names are: “Wizard of Paws,” whose deal was brokered by  Felicia Litovitz, VP, Acquisitions, North America,  “Lost Treasures of Egypt,” brokered by Catherine McCormick, Manager Acquisitions, “Believers,” by Life and “Ted Bundy: The Survivors,” also by Litovitz. The content stretches across a wide variety of genres, including lifestyle, crime, paranormal, and history. “Crime, lifestyle, and history are perennially good performers for us and these new shows will be perfect for broadcasters looking for great content to play now," Life said.

“Wizard of Paws,” by Nomadica Films for BYUtv in the US, features heart-warming stories of adorable creatures overcoming the odds. The 11 30-minute episodes follow Derrick Campana giving challenged animals a second chance with one-of-a-kind limbs, taking their owners on an emotional journey as their beloved bionic pets get a new quality of life.

“Lost Treasures of Egypt” was created by Windfall Films for National Geographic International, Channel 4 UK, RMC Décoverte France, and SBS Australia. The six episodes show modern-day explorers on the front lines of archaeology as they unearth relics from the desert sand. The show reflects the use of cinematography and CGI.

The eight 60-minute episodes of “Believers" by Karga Seven Pictures for Travel Channel in the US, features the accounts of people who have experienced shocking and unexplained paranormal events. Telling their terrifying true stories first-hand, the series weaves together interviews, archival footage, and sweeping cinematic recreations to bring other-worldly encounters to life. “Ted Bundy: The Survivors.” by Hoff productions for Reelz recalls the story of America’s most notorious serial killer from the perspective of the lucky few who escaped him.
