CINEFLIX RIGHTS SIGNS MULTIPLE NORDIC DEALS FOR MORE THAN 450 HOURS OF CONTENT  

The deals include TV2 Denmark acquiring multiple seasons of three of Cineflix Rights’ global hit shows fronted by "Property Brothers Drew" and "Jonathan Scott: Brother vs. Brother", "Property Brothers: Buying and Selling", "TheProperty Brothers at Home"; along with "The Queen’s Green Planet".

Cineflix Rights has sold more than 450 hours of factual content to broadcasters and platforms across the Nordic region. The deals include TV2 (Denmark) acquiring multiple seasons of three of Cineflix Rights’ global hit shows fronted by "Property Brothers Drew" and "Jonathan Scott: Brother vs. Brother" (Seasons 1-6, 36x60’, Scott Brothers Entertainment for HGTV, US and Canada), "Property Brothers: Buying and Selling" (Seasons 1-6, 104x60’, Cineflix Productions for HGTV, US and Canada), "TheProperty Brothers at Home" (4x60’, Scott Brothers Entertainment for HGTV, US); along with "The Queen’s Green Planet" (1x60’, ITN Productions for ITV, UK), the high-profile natural history documentary special fronted by Sir David Attenborough with exclusive access to members of the British Royal Family.

"My Family and the Galapagos" (Seasons 1&2, 7x60’, Seadog Productions and Motion Content Group for Channel 4, UK) which follows award-winning TV host, marine biologist, and conservationist Monty Halls and his family on life-changing adventures to his "favourite place on Earth", has been bought by SVT (Sweden) and YLE (Finland). "Egypt’s Lost Pyramid (1x60’, At Land Productions and Lion TV for Channel 4, UK and Smithsonian, US) which unearths a never-before-seen archaeological wonder and reveals new mysteries, has been sold to DR (Denmark), NENT (Sweden), and YLE (Finland).

"Warrior Women" with Lupita Nyong’o (1x60’, Sandstone Global Productions for Channel 4, UK) in which the Oscar-winning actress uncovers the remarkable truth behind the women who helped to inspire the Dora Milaje of Marvel's film Black Panther, has been bought by DR and SVT. "The Far Traveller" (1x60’, Pro Films and Mac TV for BBC Alba, Scotland; RUV, Iceland; and NRK, Norway), which retells the stories of the brave Viking women who discovered the New World, has been acquired by DR and YLE.

"Inside Taronga Zoo" (Seasons 1&2, McAvoy Media for Nine Network, Australia; Channel 4, UK; and National Geographic, US), with exclusive access to one of the most picturesque zoos in the world, has been sold to Viasat World. NENT has acquired the hi-octane series "Coast Guard: Mission Critical" (10x60’, Rum Lime Productions in association with Gulp Pictures for History, US) across Sweden, Denmark, Norway together with history special "Building Hitler’s Supergun" (1x60’, Windfall Films for Channel 4, UK; WGBH, US; and National Geographic Channels International) for Sweden.

SVT has bought "Extreme Tribe: The Last Pygmies" (3x60’, Renegade Pictures for Channel 4, UK) which provides a rare look into the lives of the remote Mbendjele tribe, told from a unique female perspective; Under Thin Ice (1x60’, Galafilm Productions in association with Mario Cyr Productions for CBC; Radio-Canada; and SWR-ARTE, Germany), which follows a daring Arctic expedition to see how wildlife is adjusting to climate change; and Takaya: Lone Wolf (1x60’, Talesmith, Cineflix Productions, MBM TV for BBC, UK; CBC, Canada; and ARTE, France and Germany), the inspirational story of one animal’s resilience, adaptation, and survival.
