CTV Life Channel is set to begin production for the new culinary series “Mary Makes It Easy" alongside with Boat Rocker Studios. “Following the success of “Mary’s Kitchen Crush,” we’re delighted to introduce a new series with the incredibly talented Mary Berg to our portfolio of hit original programming,” said Justin Stockman, Vice- President, Content Development & Programming, Bell Media. “Together with our partners at Proper Television, we look forward to bringing more of Mary’s creativity, skill, warmth, and humor to Canadian viewers.”
“Mary Makes It Easy” is produced by Boat Rocker Studios, Unscripted through Proper Television, in association with CTV. Cathie James, Allison Grace, and Lesia Capone serve as Executive Producers and David Donohue as Series Producer. Jon Rutherford is President, Boat Rocker Studios, Rights. The cooking show is set to be distributed globally by Boat Rocker Studios in association with Bell Media. Hosted by Canada’s Mary Berg, Canadian Screen Award-winner for Best Host, Lifestyle for CTV Original series "Mary's Kitchen Crush," the new series for CTV Life Channel consists of 25 half-hour episodes, including a holiday special. “We’re thrilled to partner with CTV Life Channel and the ever so talented Mary Berg to bring this unique new series to the screen,” said Jay Peterson, President, Boat Rocker Studios, Unscripted. “‘Mary Makes It Easy’ offers a wonderful escape for viewers to learn directly from one of Canada’s leading culinary experts on how to bring everyday cooking to life with style and ease.”
Filming in Toronto at Berg’s home kitchen, the show follows Berg as she provides tips to enhance everyday cooking skills. She also partakes in a question/answer session with her audience to inform them about any topics they may have quetions about. “Mary’s Kitchen Crush” is a Canadian Screen Award-winner for Best Lifestyle Program or Series, and is currently sold in more than 100 countries. With many years of cooking, Berg has won the Canadian Screen Award for Best Host, among other accomplishments. She is also set to release her second cookbook, due to be released in Fall of this year.
