"Joachim and the Apocalypse"
Delta Star Pictures' film "Joachim and the Apocalypse" will be premiered in the UK on September 5, 2025, at the VUE Cinema Piccadilly, where it will open the 15th edition of the London Rolling Film Festival.
This new premiere follows its theatrical release in Italian on December 5, 2024, where it was met with strong public interests and continued to be requested for screenings up to seven months later, and its successful premiere in Los Angeles.
A SPARK OF HOPE
Since last December, Jordan River’s film has brought spirituality, poetry, and prophecy to the big screen, along with a piece of history and knowledge that were missing. As the world increasingly experiences apocalyptic undertones, with over 50 active conflicts involving more than 100 countries directly or indirectly, this film arrives as a necessary reflection. Contrary to what one might expect, although the work focuses on the prophecy of Joachim of Fiore, it presents a vision of hope. The film’s powerful message is conveyed not only through striking visuals and the spiritual exegesis of a 12th-century monk, whom Dante Alighieri placed in Paradise among the wise spirits and who inspired great minds over the centuries (including Montaigne, Hegel, Joyce, Michelangelo, and Columbus), but also through innovative techniques. These include the use of chromotherapy in several sequences and Theta Waves, a specific type of brainwave known to influence the deeper, subtler layers of consciousness, promoting the viewer’s inner well-being.
