"Joachim and the Apocalypse"
8 STAR Entertainment and Delta Star Pictures announce the special screening of the award-winning feature film "Joachim and the Apocalypse" on Friday, December 5, 2025, at Dolby “Vine” Screening Room on Hollywood Blvd.
The screening will feature two distinguished guests participating in an exclusive Q&A session following the screening: Michele Josia – Emmy® Award–winning for Musical/Composition; film composer, conductor, and recipient of 52 film industry awards and 34 music awards spanning both film and concert compositions; and Vittorio Sodano – Two-time ACADEMY AWARD® nominee for Best Achievement in Makeup.
Shot in ultra-high-resolution 12K and presented in 4K, the film combines breathtaking visuals with elements of Chromotherapy and Theta Wave audio frequencies to deepen consciousness and evoke emotional resonance. Merging historical realism with metaphysical vision, it delivers a rare cinematic experience that engages both intellect and emotion.
Directed by Jordan River and produced by Delta Pictures, "Joachim and the Apocalypse" has garnered critical praise for its visionary storytelling, cinematographic mastery, and meditative pacing inviting viewers to reflect on the apocalyptic nature of every era — and the hope that lies beyond.
Further enriching the film’s experience, composer Michele Josia describes the musical score as a conceptual expedition inspired by the mystical theology of Joachim of Fiore: “The music is a journey through three spiritual ages—The Age of the Father, The Age of the Son, and The Age of the Spirit. It blends ancient liturgical textures, cinematic orchestration, and ethereal electronic soundscapes to create a sonic experience that transcends traditional scoring. This is not just music for a film—it’s music for an inner apocalypse. Every note is a question. Every pause, a revelation".
The film "Joachim and the Apocalypse" has received the blessing for the 2026 Oscars® from His Holiness Pope Leo XIV. The Pontiff welcomed the film, as a sign of cinema's power to bear witness to beauty, truth, and spiritual renewal, while acknowledging its film's international distribution: “It comforts me to think that cinema is not just moving pictures: it is putting hope in motion!” the Pope said.
