Following recent announcement with Telefónica Media Networks to manage the sales of Movistar Latin American series in the region, EO Media continues to boost its distribution division catalogue, signing a new deal to manage the Latin America broadcast sales of Impacto Cine, including a quality catalogue over 60 titles after their theatrical release.

The catalogue is led by most recent Oscar Academy Award Best Picture “Parasite,” from writer, director and producer Bong Joon-ho; and recent Sundance Film Festival Special Jury Award “Shirley,” starring Elisabeth Moss, Michael Stuhlbarg and Logan Lerman.

Within its stellar titles, the new pack includes family movies such as the new remakes of classic international successes “Lassie” and “Heidi”. The catalogue also has a balanced variety of well selected dramas with top cast and directors, comedies, horror and an interesting selection of documentaries such as “The Kleptocrats” or “Simone” (to premiere in theatres 2021).

“We feel privileged to be able to manage the rights to such an amazing selection of movies, that we trust will be of great interest for the audiences of platforms, networks and channels throughout Latin America, avid of quality content to watch,” said Ezequiel Olzanski, CEO of EO Media. “We are working strategically to build a solid distribution catalogue incorporating a list of movies that adds up to the excellent Movistar series, Nicely Pictures and great titles we are already handling, and complements our strategy on the co-production side, where we are working steadily with top Latin American talent on the development of an attractive slate of series and movies to be soon announced,”  he added.

The distribution deal between EO Media and Impacto Cine comprises all broadcast rights, including VOD, cable and free TV windows in the territory.
