The film franchise’s previous movies, “Boonie Bears Movie” and “Blast Into the Past” were released in the region in 2019, receiving overwhelmingly positive feedback from its audiences. Prime Time Media is tasked with distributing  the film, as well as the newest related TV series “Boonie Squad.” “Boonie Bears franchise has a wide selection of shows that attract young audiences for a number of reasons,” its release read. “The last release proved that family-oriented feature films work perfectly for Russian audiences.”

The movie has also secured theatrical releases in other territories, such as Canada through Cinemaguzzo, Peru, and Colombia through Cinecolor. It was previously acquired by China Lion in Australia, Face white in Japanese, and Truth Global Middle Eastern theaters.

This sci-fi film, set in a new fantasy world, where human beings compete in the form of animals with genetic technology and experience wild adventures. Due to the current global situation, many countries may choose to premiere the movie on TV or via VOD platforms. The Wild Life was released on Sky UK in spring and a premiere on French VOD, via Factories Films, is planned for autumn 2021. “We are excited to see the world making positive progress, with such simple but much-needed steps like restaurants and cinemas reopening. And we want to be there for our audience, for kids and families who are happy to see their favorite characters,” Kristina Razmerova, Account Executive in Fantawild Animation said.
