Gruppo Alcuni's co-founder and Creative Director Sergio Manfio and co-founder and CEO of the company Francesco Manfio are hosting an event for French schools in Lyons, and presenting the creative process they used for producing their series dedicated to Leonardo da Vinci.

The conference for kids is organized by the Italian Consulate General in Lyons’ Salle de Conférence della Cité Scolaire Internationale, and is a multi-faceted journey into da Vinci’s astonishing genius, characterized by three distinct experiences.

The event will include a theatrical tribute “Leonardo da Vinci”, followed by a chat with the authors about their inspiration, research and development; a screening of the feature film “Leo da Vinci:Mission Mona Lisa starring young Leo and his pals Lisa and Lollo; lastly, a Q&A where the youngsters can exchange with Sergio and Francesco, and have their curiosity satisfied about how Leonardo da Vinci’s adventures were conceived for theatre and film.

Clara Petracca, Consul General in Lyons, comments: “Our deepest thanks to Gruppo Alcuni for the incredible opportunity they are offering our students. Leonardo da Vinci was one of mankind’s greatest geniuses, and to tell his story through top-quality animation allows the students to go back to the soul of the Renaissance, and to uncover his numerous artistic creations, projects and groundbreaking inventions. This unique experience is a creative bridge between past and present, while stimulating youngsters’ curiosity and imagination through theatre and visual storytelling.”
