Greece's largest producer Kapa Studios announces that one of the most iconic new drama series from Greece, "The Witch" from JK Productions, has been ordered for a second season to premiere in Antenna in the fall of 2024. The first season finished airing in Greece in early summer and has attracted a lot of international attention. "The Witch" is set in 1817 in Ottoman-occupied Greece. The series is distributed internationally by Antenna Studios.

JK Productions has also confirmed the acquisition of the rights to make a Greek version of the Spanish series "Gran Hotel". The local version will premiere in September 2024 in Antenna TV Greece, featuring 150 episodes that will air 4 days a week. "Gran Hotel" originally aired in Spain from 2011 to 2013 and has been adapted in several countries worldwide. The original series, produced by Bambú Producciones in Spain, is set in an early 20th-century aristocratic hotel and centers on the mysteries involving the owner's family and the hotel servants.

On the other hand, the TV series "Sasmos" finishes its final and third season on Alpha in Greece by the end of this month after 476 episodes. The series is one of the most successful Greek TV series in recent years with record ratings. The series has recently been licensed by Achla TV in Israel, with numerous other licenses in discussions. "Sasmos" is set in Crete, centered on the forbidden love and a bitter feud between two families.
