Kew Media Distribution will present its first original scripted series "Trickster" during NATPE Miami. "I am delighted to be able to give my Latin American clients the very first sneak peek into this amazing series at the market,” said Maria Ibarra, Director of Sales at Kew Media Distribution.

“This is just the start of many new drama, non-fiction and event series that we will be distributing in the coming months. With a line-up of excellent and well-regarded production companies within the Kew Media Group, we are very pleased to offer other scripted and non-scripted shows such ‘Susan Hill’s The Small Hand: A Ghost Story’ (1 x 94’) produced by Awesome and Two Rivers Media Production for Channel 5, UK, and "My Paranormal Nightmare" (10 x 60’) produced by Our House Media, at NATPE”, completed Ibarra.
MAIN TRENDS
Regarding Ibarra, throughout Latin American there are opportunities for every genre as people are becoming more and more curious and hungry to find out about the world they live in. “With so many platforms and channels available to all, viewers have developed a more sophisticated and curated taste for wide-ranging, high quality content. Factual series and factual entertainment are definitely becoming much more popular in the region and Kew Media has some of the best available non-fiction programming to offer at NATPE such as ‘Laurel Canyon: A Place in Time’ (1 x 120’ or 2 x 78’, A Jigsaw and Kennedy/Marshall Production in association with Amblin TV and Warner Music Entertainment), ‘Road to Riches’ (6 x 60’, An Media Group Production) and “The Alexander Complex” (w/t, 1 x 90 or 2 x 45’, A Soilsiú Films & Fine Point Films Production)," detailed.

Our strategy is to continue producing and distributing all genres of high quality content with worldwide appeal and to be recognised as a ‘go to’ distributor for award-winning programmes such as Dan Reed’s global factual hit Leaving Neverland, winner of the 2019 Emmy® Award for Outstanding Documentary or Non-Fiction Special, and multi-award winning long-running drama series Line of Duty from Jed Mercurio (Bodyguard), among others,” highlighted the executive.
