MIFA Annecy 2025: Folivari International acquires TAT Production's series "Pil's Adventures!"

Folivari International has acquired the global distribution rights of the new animated series "Pil’s Adventures" (52x13’) produced by major French studio TAT ("The Jungle Bunch") and based on an original idea by Julien Fournet, who also serves as writer and showrunner. The series marks the television continuation of the hit feature film "Pil’s Adventures", released theatrically in 2021 and sold in over 80 territories worldwide.

Aimed at children aged 5 to 8, and directed by Benjamin Lagard and Jérémie Guneau "Pil’s Adventures" (52x13’) follows Pil, a spirited and agile young girl who lives in the medieval town of Foggyborough. Equal parts rebel and protector, Pil fearlessly defends her fellow citizens alongside her quirky companions Crobar, Rigolin, and three loyal weasels.

Melissa Vega, Folivari International’s Head of Acquisitions and International Sales, will be attending MIFA to finalize partnerships for the remaining open territories and solidify the global rollout of this highly anticipated series. “We’re excited to bring Pil’s energy and courage to young viewers around the world. With its mix of adventure and comedy, 'Pil’s Adventures' is set to become a favorite for a new generation of children,” said Vega.

Commissioned by France Télévisions, "Pil’s Adventures" has also secured pre-sales with Swedish broadcaster SVT and Swiss broadcaster RTS. The first episodes are already available; 26 episodes are scheduled for delivery in December 2025, with full delivery expected by May 2026.
