NELVANA’S CONTENT TO BE DISTRIBUTED BY BLUCK SOCKS MEDIA IN AFRICAN REGIONS

EVP Distribution and Licensing for Blue Socks, Neil Warren will represent brands and catalogs in Africa, taking on the distribution of Nelvana’s extensive catalog of more than 4,400 episodes.

Nelvana announced a partnership with Blue Socks Media as a distribution partner in the continental African territory. Blue Socks Media will be responsible for the distribution of Nelvana’s extensive catalog of more than 4,400 episodes.

As part of the new partnership, Blue Socks Media will secure broadcast partners for Nelvana’s premium content in the African territory, including its beloved, award-winning series Babar, Franklin and "Max & Ruby," in addition to more recent series "Ranger Rob," "The Dog & Pony Show," "Agent Binky: Pets of the Universe," "Bakugan," among others. 

With 15 years of experience representing brands and catalogs in Africa, Durban-based Neill Warren, EVP Distribution and Licensing for Blue Socks will head the team in the territory. "We’re excited to onboard Blue Socks Media to meet the increasing demand for premier children’s content in Africa and further solidify Nelvana as a leader in best-in-class entertainment for kids and teens globally,” said Mellany Masterson, Head of Nelvana Enterprises. “Blue Socks Media’s established track record and invaluable expertise in this territory make them the perfect partner to extend Nelvana’s worldwide reach and engage new audiences.”
