"The Bravest Knight"
Big Bad Boo Studios confirms the release of the first six episodes of season two of their original animated series, "The Bravest Knight" on Hulu in the US and CBC Gem in Canada on December 13. Episodes will also launch on CBC on January 12. The all-star cast now also includes Wallace Shawn as "Rumpelstiltskin", Cynthia Nixon as "Sharon the Spider", Ru Paul's Drag Race alum Nina West asthe "Duchess of Grazia", and Saturday Night Live veteran Nasim Pedrad as "Ali the Thief."
The first six episodes drop Created by Daniel Errico, and directed by Shabnam Rezaei, "The Bravest Knight" received a GLAAD Award for Outstanding Kids & Family Programming and is praised for being one of the first to star an openly gay main character.
Season one of "The Bravest Knight" aired on Hulu and CBC Kids to rave reviews, and audiences await the rest of young Cedric’s adventures searching for the elusive "Red Dragon", played by Christine Baranski. Season two continues as Sir Cedric shares how he became a knight with his daughter, Nia, an aspiring knight herself. Now married to the Prince, Sir Cedric recounts his adventures as a young Not-Yet-Knight, alongside Grunt, Saylor, and Cho. Together, they encounter a cast of fairytale characters, both old and new, and learn about friendship, resourcefulness, and true bravery.

In honor of the second season, from November 2024 through June 2025, Schiffer Publishing will be donating partial proceeds from sales of the book that inspired the series, "The Bravest Knight Who Ever Lived", to GLSEN, the leading LGBTQ+ education organization working to ensure safe schools for all students.
