Nicely Entertainment kicks off 2025 in full stride, wrapping production on its latest Christmas romance film of the year, “Christmas at Fields Ranch,” a holiday romance by production companies Nicely Entertainment, Hyperborea Films, and LaSalle Productions with worldwide distribution managed by Nicely Entertainment.
Vanessa Shapiro, Nicely Entertainment’s CEO and Founder, said: “We’re thrilled to announce that production has wrapped on Nicely’s latest Christmas Romance of 2025! We cannot wait to share ‘Christmas at Fields Ranch’ with our global clients in Q2 of this year, and we’re excited to be in collaboration with Hyperborea Films and LaSalle Productions on this fun and entertaining project.”
Chad Verdi Jr. and Paul Luba are producing, along with Vanessa Shapiro, Scott Kirkpatrick, Dave Hickey, Dobbins, Herrmann, and Anthony Gudas serving as Executive Producers. Glenn Ciano is directing. Production recently wrapped, which took place in Rhode Island.
In an original screenplay by Herrmann, with story contributions by Dobbins, “Christmas at Fields Ranch” follows Daisy (Anna Marie Dobbins), a New York real estate broker, who inherits a ranch from her late grandfather just before Christmas. She visits the estate, torn between keeping the property or selling it to a high-profile client to please her boss. As Daisy falls in love with the ranch and reunites with an old crush, Ben (Marc Herrmann), who works there as a ranch hand, she must decide between her career and her heart before the holiday season ends. Jennifer Taylor also stars as Ben’s mother on the ranch, Mrs. Williams.
After starring together in back-to-back films as love interests in 2019 and 2020, Herrmann and Dobbins began dating off the screen as well. Eager for another opportunity to work together, they pitched the concept to the production companies, leading to a swift greenlight. This will be Herrmann's third project with Nicely and third project co-starring with Dobbins.
Anna Marie Dobbins, represented by Alexander White Agency and Felecia Sager Ent, has an impressive resume with over a dozen lead roles and most recently starred in “Dreamquil”, an upcoming thriller from Elizabeth Banks' Brownstone Productions.
Marc Herrmann is known for leading roles in over a dozen feature films, including Nicely's “Love at the Lodge” and “A Miracle Christmas for Two”, and is currently starring in multiple vertical series. He is represented by Marco Cuadros at Immortal Artists.
Jennifer Taylor is most known for her role as “Chelsea” on the hit comedy television series “Two and a Half Men”. Her feature film credits include “God's Not Dead: A Light in Darkness” and “Wild Things”. She is repped by Kurt Patino at Patino Management Company and Mike Eisenstadt at Amsel, Eisenstadt, Frazier & Hinojosa Talent Agency (AEFH).
