Tobi Amusan
ATHLST, a Nigerian-American digital sports studio, has partnered with MagicLine Films to showcase the journey of world record hurdler Tobi Amusan in a new documentary film, "Homecoming: The Tobi Amusan Story", with Nile Media Entertainment Group serving as the sales agency.
Produced in collaboration with Nigeria's Magicline Films, the documentary captures Amusan's athletic brilliance and unwavering determination, showcasing her journey to becoming Nigeria’s first world champion.
"This documentary is a window into my world," Tobi Amusan says. "It's about the sweat, tears, and countless hours of training that go into those few seconds on the track.”
Amusan, who became world record holder in the 100m hurdles in 2022, and three-time Diamond League champion, takes center stage in this intimate exploration of her journey from aspiring athlete to global superstar. The documentary marks the directorial debuts of both.
ATHLST Studios' CEO Lanre Aina and Sulaiman Folarin, offering viewers an unprecedented glimpse into Amusan's life and career. ATHLST Studios, co-founded by CEO Aina and COO Sandra Oboh, operates at the intersection of sports and entertainment, with a mission to amplify African athletes' voices across the globe.
