OneGate Media licenses ARD's hit series "Vet Jacobs - Agent on Occasion" to Italy

The 24 episodes of the German TV series have been acquired by Italian free-to-air crime channel Giallo, part of the Warner Bros. Discovery network, with three new episodes currently in production.

OneGate Media has licensed all 24 episodes of the hit German TV series "Vet Jacobs - Agent on Occasion" (ARD) to the Italian free-to-air crime channel Giallo, part of the Warner Bros. Discovery network, with three new episodes currently in production.

"Vet Jacobs - Agent on Occasion" ("Nord bei Nordwest"), which is produced by Triple Pictures, has established itself as an audience favourite in Germany. With consistently high market shares of over 20% and a record of 30% on ARD, the series regularly engages a large audience. The blend of thrilling crime stories, charming characters, and the idyllic setting on the Baltic Sea coast has proven to be a recipe for success.

GLOBAL SUCCESS
Bolstering its portfolio of high-end series with global appeal, OneGate Media recently sold episodes of the series "Tatort" to multiple territories, and licensed the series "Baltic Crimes" ("Der Usedom-Krimi") in 95 countries. OneGate has also seen global success with various feel-good productions and children's series like "The Peppercorns" ("Die Pfefferkörner") which has sold to several global markets including Scandinavia and Italy, where it airs on RAI.
