The comedy series "Traffic Jam" ("Atasco") has begun filming its highly anticipated second season, which will be available on Prime Video Spain. The production of "Traffic Jam" is handled by Onza in collaboration with Prime Video and Publicis Rebellion, with José María Irisarri, Gonzalo Sagardía, Santiago de la Rica, and Rodrigo Sopeña serving as executive producers. The new season is set to premiere this year exclusively on Prime Video Spain, bringing audiences fresh stories filled with humor and empathy.

For this new season, renowned stars such as Sílvia Abril, Carlos Sobera, Adriana Torrebejano, Carlos Areces, Luis Zahera and Edurne, among others, join the cast. Additionally, some actors from the first season return to take up their roles again, including Arturo Valls as the car salesman.

Gonzalo Sagardía, CEO of Onza and executive producer of the series highlighted the production model with the aim of achieving a top-level cast:“'Traffic Jam' is one of the most innovative concepts in Spanish fiction in recent years. Its content design and production model allow for an ensemble cast that would be unimaginable in other productions. The originality of its scripts, written by Rodrigo Sopeña, guarantees viewers a fun-filled experience," noted.

Directed by Rodrigo Sopeña and produced by Onza, the series has been acclaimed for its fresh approach and stellar cast, which in its first season featured prominent figures such as Antonio Resines, Ana Wagener, Iván Massagué, José Mota, María León, and Edu Soto, among many others.

With six new episodes, the second season of 'Traffic Jam' takes us back to a massive gridlock—this time caused by a truck losing its cargo on the highway. This incident disrupts the lives of thousands of citizens: a rookie reporter, a criminal feeling sympathy for an abandoned dog, a bizarre ride-share trip, inmates escaping from prison, a celebrity fleeing paparazzi… The asphalt remains the stage for new surprising, comedic, and emotional adventures featuring Spain’s top comedy actors.
