Production studio Peanut & Crumb appoints Jack Howson as Head of Audio

Multiplatform production studio Peanut & Crumb has hired Jack Howson as Head of its audio division. Jack will oversee development and production of slate of original and branded audio content, including documentary, drama, and new current affairs and cultural formats. Jack was the winner of Best Music Producer at the Audio Production Awards 2021.

Katie Derham, Co-founder and Head of Communications, comments: “Jack is a storyteller who knows how to get to the heart of any topic. Peanut & Crumb is known for its original independent podcast for urban birdwatchers, "Get Birding", winner of the coveted Gold Award in the inaugural Climate category at the 2022 British Podcast Awards, which celebrates the shows taking the initiative to help save the planet.

The Brighton-based female-led independent studio was founded by BBC broadcaster Katie Derham and BAFTA nominated producer Jane Gerber in 2015.
