International TV production business Shark Teeth Films announces Canada’s Bell Media has pre-bought the first series of its new factual engineering franchise "Building Bad" and Cineflix Rights to distribute the series worldwide. Production has already started for a Fall delivery.

"Building Bad" (10x60’) examines what happens when scientists, inventors and engineers turn to the dark side. From Italian Mafia’s assassination drones and Columbian drug cartels’ secret narco subs to a network of New York City heroin processing labs and the ingenious escape routes in Pablo Escobar's Hacienda and Catêdral hideouts, "Building Bad" uncovers the nefarious products of greedy, ruthless, and brilliant minds.

Executive producers are Adrian Carter and Tom Mudd for Shark Teeth Films, Felicia Litovitz and Richard Life for Cineflix Rights. “We are excited to showcase the ingenious engineering of the world’s most dangerous criminals. ‘Building Bad’ is a docu series that combines elements of science and engineering to highlight the lengths criminal masterminds will go for money and power” said Adrian Carter and Tom Mudd, Founders and Executive Producers of Shark Teeth Films.

“The Shark Teeth team has a great track record of producing high quality content appealing to a wide demographic. We’ve already had great success with their previous series 'Mysterious Islands', so we’re thrilled to be building on our partnership with them to turn another Canadian show into an international hit,” said Felicia Litovitz, VP Acquisitions, North America, Cineflix Rights.

The announcement follows Shark Teeth Films’ recent announcement of a thirty-hour deal for three factual series with Boat Rocker – "Discovered by Disaster" (10x60’), "Secrets in the Dark" (10x60’) and a fourth season of "Secrets in the Ice" (10x60’).
