Lionsgate's company, Starz, has announced that it will be included with YouTubeTV as part of a brand-new offer. Additionally, the company has also partnered with Verizon to offer a 1-year subscription to eligible customers as part of their new home internet plan. Starz and YouTube have partnered to offer 30 days of access to STARZ’s robust library of premium programming included with a subscription to YouTube TV and through YouTube Primetime Channels. This promotion, available for new and existing customers, is available through April. Starz and YouTube recently extended their partnership through a multi-year deal, which includes bundles and new offers. This is a first-of-its-kind promotion for YouTube TV.
Starzprovides audiences an uninterrupted viewing experience to its expansive slate of original series and hit films. They include the popular drama, “Power Book III: Raising Kanan,” debuting its fourth season on March 7, the seductive thriller, “The Couple Next Door,” and all seven seasons of the fan-favorite series, “Outlander,” starring Sam Heughan. Subscribers can also dive into a variety of high-octane films, like “John Wick: Chapter 4,” “Borderlands” and “Spiderman: No Way Home.”
In addition to enjoying Starz´s lineup, YouTube TV subscribers will have access to several major televised events during the offer window, including the Super Bowl, NBA All-Star Weekend, the start of the MLB season, the Academy Awards, March Madness, and the beginning of the NBA playoffs.
YouTube TV is a subscription streaming service that lets viewers watch live and on-demand TV from over 100 channels through a simple and award-winning experience. Viewers have access to local and national live sports, breaking news, shows, movies and more, and can tune in on any screen (phone, tablet, TV, computer). With over 8 million subscribers, YouTube TV offers features such as unlimited cloud DVR storage space, multiview, the ability to view key sports plays, hide spoilers and check out real-time stats.
YouTube Primetime Channels lets viewers subscribe and watch content from their favorite streaming services right on the YouTube app. With over 45 channels, users can browse, sign up for and watch their favorite shows, movies, sports and more. With so many streaming options today, Primetime Channels makes it easier for viewers to easily watch content from multiple streaming services without having to jump from app to app, while also managing their subscriptions all in one place.
Meanwhile, Starz has teamed up with Verizon to offer 12 months of Starz included for eligible home internet customers. This offer is for new customers in Philadelphia, Baltimore and Washington, DC markets who order Fios 1 Gig or 2 Gig Home Internet or for customers in the Atlanta market who order 5G Home Plus. It marks the first-ever bundle between Starz and Verizon Home Internet.
New customers can immerse themselves into Starz´s lineup of original series and hit films, like the upcoming season four premiere of “Power Book III: Raising Kanan,” the award-winning “Power Book 2: Ghost,” and the family crime drama “BMF.” Viewers can also catch an array of movies on the platform, from the heist thriller “1992” and the action-comedy “Borderlands,” to the compelling drama “A Thousand and One.”
