TCB Media Rights has appointed Federica Rossi to the position of sales executive and promoted Simona Argenti to head of sales, as it restructures in preparation for the next phase of its international strategy. Rossi joins the London-based company from CNBC International, where she served as EMEA account executive for the past three years. A fluent Japanese speaker with a Masters in international studies and diplomacy from the University of London’s School of Oriental and African Studies, she will focus on Asia in her new sales role at TCB. Rossi began her career in international television distribution as a sales-support executive for BBC Studios.

Federica Rossi will report to Simona Argenti, who has been promoted to the newly created position of head of sales. Argenti, a former BBC Worldwide sales manager, joined TCB in 2017 and now manages USA, Canada, France and Italy. Her new responsibilities will include managing the distributor’s growing sales force and coordinating and rationalizing its work flow. There will also be a particular focus on continuing to drive presales and new partnerships to maximize TCB Originals strategy as well as expanding TCB presence on digital platforms.

Paul Heaney, CEO of TCB Media Rights, said: “Our sales team has developed in the last 7 years from a two man operation to a self-contained autonomous unit that has achieved incredible results. Federica, with her language skills and specialist knowledge, is the perfect addition to this team as we focus on expanding our activities across Asia. The region has historically been a strong market for us due to the nature of the shows we represent— and now, with Federica’s help and under Simona’s guidance, we’re looking forward to building on the relationships we have already and finding new ones.”
