The animator and YouTube creator Daria Cohen is developing her cult favourite series "The Vampair" into a long-form animated TV pilot in partnership with the Academy Award-nominated Hive Studio. The creative partnership combines Cohen’s unique gothic vision with the cinematic expertise of The Hive Studio, known globally for its award-winning animation and emotionally rich storytelling.

"The Vampair" was born out of a series of intricately animated music videos and has since grown into a vibrant creative universe with a massive online following of millions of fans. Alongside Amit Gicelter and The Hive Studios, to bring The Vampair Pilot series to life, Cohen has assembled an extraordinary team of creative collaborators, each a celebrated force in their field. Lending their voices and musical magic are icons of gothic and theatrical soundscapes: dark cabaret legend Aurelio Voltaire, and Paul Shapera, mastermind of the Shaperaverse.
Vocal talents include Lauren Osborn,, and Krystal LaPorte, a seasoned voice actor. Rounding out the team is Maxwell Atoms, the visionary creator of "The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy".
While a crowdfunding campaign will launch on July 6th, 2025, the heart of this announcement lies in the creative alignment between Cohen and The Hive Studio — a shared commitment to crafting animated stories that are visually striking, narratively rich, and emotionally resonant.
