VIACOM INTERNATIONAL STUDIOS SIGNS FIRST LOOK DEAL WITH FRIDA TORRESBLANCO

Viacom International Studios (VIS) announced an exclusive agreement with renowned, multi-award-winning Spanish-American film and TV producer Frida Torresblanco, and her production company, Braven Films, LLC for the development and production of content in a first-look deal.

Torresblanco is a cinematic maven respected for her vast experience and work with great directors such as Alfonso Cuarón and Guillermo del Toro. She produced The Assassination of Richard Nixon, The Dancer Upstairs, Rudo y Cursi, and Pan's Labyrinth, the winner of three Oscars and multiple international awards. In addition to amassing several successes, she currently runs Braven Films, alongside her partners Eric Laufer and Giovanna Randall, together producing cinema with universal appeal, and developing content through films, television series, and documentaries.

Torresblanco is currently developing a slate of films and television programs with talents such as Rachel Weisz, Ethan Hawke, Alessandro Nivola, John Curran, James Kent, and Björn Runge. Her last production, Disobedience starring Rachel Weisz and Rachel McAdams, was released by Bleecker Street in 2018.
