VIACOM LAUNCHES PARAMOUNT+ AND NOGGIN ON AMAZON CHANNELS IN MEXICO

For a monthly fee of MXN 79.00, Paramount+ subscribers can enjoy acclaimed international series on-demand through Prime Video Channels such as "The Handmaids' Tale", "Killing Eve" and "Yellowstone". Paramount+ also features an extensive library of up to 2,000 episodes of multiple titles and genres.

Viacom International Media Networks announced an agreement with Amazon Prime Video to add two new SVOD services to the Prime Video Channels lineup in Mexico: Paramount+ and Noggin, Nick Jr.’s learning service. With this new agreement, Amazon Prime Video offers a wide range of VIMN and Viacom content for all audiences beginning October 8, 2019.

“We are thrilled to be able to offer Paramount+ and Noggin through Prime Video Channels in Mexico,” said Rita Herring, Senior Vice President of Content Distribution for Viacom International Media Networks Americas. “Both of these premium services offer extensive, curated content for the whole family and are a perfect complement to the Prime Video Channels service.”

Paramount+ also features an extensive library of up to 2,000 episodes of multiple titles and genres across Viacom's MTV, Comedy Central, Paramount Channel and Nickelodeon brands including Acapulco Shore, De Ferias Com O Ex Brasil, Jersey Shore, Catfish, dozens of Latin American stand-up comedy episodes, Latin America, Brazil and UK versions of Are You The One? and Just Tattoo Of Us. For kids and families, Paramount+ will feature hundreds of episodes of beloved Nickelodeon programs including SpongeBob SquarePants, The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Hey Arnold!, The Fairly OddParents, Avatar: The Last Airbender, Big Time Rush, The Thundermans, iCarly, NooBees, Yo Soy Franky and Every Witch Way, among others.

Noggin, at a monthly fee of MXN 49.00, will offer a large library of popular preschool content including PAW Patrol, Nella the Princess Knight, Blaze and the Monster Machines, Dora the Explorer and Canticos. Noggin launched in the U.S. in 2015 and has consistently ranked at the top of the U.S. charts in the Family and Kids categories. Since its launch in Latin America in 2016, the app has grown significantly with more content and tech capabilities and increasing its subscriber base to 1.5 million consumers in the region.

Paramount+ debuted as an SVOD aggregation service in October 2017 in Sweden, Denmark, Finland and Norway. It is currently offered in those territories along with Poland, Hungary and Latin America.
