Fawesome, the ad-supported streaming service owned by Future Today, has announced a major expansion of its Spanish-language programming, reinforcing its position as a go-to entertainment platform for Hispanic audiences in the U.S. With new licensing deals signed with prominent Latin American and international distributors, the platform now offers thousands of hours of free, on-demand content across genres, including telenovelas, classic Mexican cinema, Turkish and Korean dramas, reality competitions, and inspirational religious series.
The partnerships secured for this initiative include high-profile content providers such as TV Azteca, Caracol, Cisneros, Hemisphere, Intermedya, and Olympusat. Additionally, multiple FAST channels have been integrated into the service, including "Caracol Mix," "Teleonce," and "Bein Sports." These acquisitions significantly strengthen Fawesome’s cultural offering and regional authenticity, enhancing its appeal across the growing U.S. Hispanic market.
“Fawesome’s expansion into Spanish-language programming is not just about increasing volume, it’s about delivering content that reflects the tastes, traditions and stories of U.S. Hispanic audiences,” said David Di Lorenzo, Senior Vice President of Content Acquisitions and Partnerships at Future Today. “This initiative marks a major milestone in elevating content offerings for one of the fastest-growing streaming demographics we’ve seen across our platforms.”
According to Future Today, Fawesome has experienced strong year-over-year growth in Spanish-language viewership and watch time. To support this momentum, the company recently brought on Jorge Balleste, a former TelevisaUnivision executive, to help drive growth in the Hispanic market. Balleste brings deep expertise in audience development and programming strategy, working closely with Di Lorenzo to ensure the platform curates content that reflects the diversity and preferences of Hispanic audiences nationwide.
“Fawesome is uniquely positioned to serve the growing U.S. Hispanic audience because of its massive reach, brand-safe environment, and access to high-quality, culturally relevant content at no cost,” Balleste said. “We’re creating a home where Hispanic viewers can see themselves, their stories, and their experiences authentically represented.”
This expansion marks the latest move in Future Today’s broader strategy to establish Fawesome as a category leader in free, culturally diverse streaming. With more than 150,000 movies and TV shows on its platform, Fawesome continues to grow its footprint in a competitive market by offering high-value entertainment for free, with a targeted focus on underserved audiences.
