ViacomCBS Networks Americas (VCNA) announced that Noggin Latin America’s digital preschool show, Garden Academy, has been honored for “Best Art Direction” in the 24th Annual Webby Awards. Hailed as the “Internet’s highest honor” by The New York Times, The Webby Awards, presented by the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences (IADAS), is the leading international awards organization honoring excellence on the Internet.
Produced by ViacomCBS Digital Studios Americas in collaboration with Vista Films in Mexico, Garden Academy is the latest “edutainment” offering for preschool App, Noggin in Latin America. The show is comprised of 40 modules that allow preschoolers to learn about animals, colors, numbers, and other themes in English via a certified English-language curriculum. Through a dynamic and interactive experience hosted by puppets, Tim the teacher, and students Col, Monte, Rose, and Margarita, preschoolers can gain knowledge of the language while being entertained with interactive games and activities. The digital format is a partnership with the Ecuadorian chapter of the prestigious Swiss academy, The Bénédict International Language School, with over 100 centers around the world and more than 45 years of providing English language instruction to children and adults.
