LIFETIME MOVIE CLUB TO DEBUT ITS FIRST ORIGINAL MOVIE "DEAD IN THE WATER"

The subscription video on demand service will offer the film commercial-free alongside two other global premiers. Other debut dates will be announced at a later time.

SVOD service, Lifetime Movie Club announced the debut of its first-ever original movie “Dead in the Water” on 15th January. The film serves as the first of its kind to premier exclusively on the platform.

“Dead in the Water” will be available commercial-free alongside two other global premiers on the Lifetime Movie Club. Other titles accessible this month include “Driven to the Edge,” “Mile High Escorts,” “Death of a Cheerleader” and “Jodi Arias: Dirty Little Secret.” Other debut dates will be announced at a later time.

The service offers hundreds of new and classic titles, themed playlists, and weekly new additions for a monthly charge of USD 3.99 or USD 39.99/ per year after a 7-day free trial. It is compatible with iOS, AppleTV, Android, Roku, and Google Chromecast.

 The movie stars Peter Porte, Catherine Lidstone, Angela Gulner, Michael Blake Kruse, and Sam Krumrine. It is produced by Lunar Field Productions, written and directed by Nanea Miyata, with Miyata and Ryan Moon contributing as producers.

“Dead in the Water” follows aspiring photography vlogger Tara. When she gets dumped by her longtime boyfriend Derek, her best friend Amy takes her on a weekend getaway to her family’s vacation lake house, where a mysterious man named Lucas crosses paths with them. His presence causes emotions to run high and suddenly the girls are forced to face the demons.
