All3Media America company, Main Event Media has promoted Stephanie Valentin as the new Vice President for its Creative Development and Production division. “Stephanie has strong creative instincts and an artist’s eye for execution,” said Jimmy Fox, founder, and president of Main Event Media, in a news release.
Valentin's appointment follows the competition series "Eye Candy" launch on Roku, which was developed and co-executive produced by Valentin after she discovered the original format "Sukkori Sweets" from Nippon TV.
She has also contributed to "Celebrity Call Center" for E! and was head of creative editing and branding at Brazil’s TV O Povo before joining Main Event, whose slate includes Netflix dating series Dated And Related and HBO Max’s unscripted series "Sweet Life: Los Angeles." Starting as a producer and development editor, Valentin has worked at Main Event Media since 2017. Ther expert counts with over 16 years of experience in development and production across a variety of genres including unscripted, scripted, news, live broadcasting, and digital content, under her belt.
Previously, she served as head of creative editing and branding at TV O Povo, an affiliate of the Brazilian network TV Cultura. Other launches recently announced by Main Event Media include recent acquisitions such as Netflix dating series, "Dated and Related" as well as HBO Max's "Sweet Life: Los Angeles."
