"Little Disasters"
Paramount+ UK & Ireland reveals first-look images of the upcoming UK original drama "Little Disasters", starring Diane Kruger, Jo Joyner, Shelley Conn and Emily Taaffe. The six-part drama series, an adaptation of the hit novel by bestselling author Sarah Vaughan, is produced by Roughcut Television in association with Fremantle, which is also handling global sales. Commissioned by Sebastian Cardwell, Deputy Chief Content Officer, UK, and Paul Testar, Commissioning Editor for Paramount+, the series will be exclusively available on Paramount+ UK & Ireland this spring.
The title centres on a decade-long friendship between Jess, Liz, Mel and Charlotte — four expectant mothers thrown together in an antenatal class with little in common beyond their due dates. Over the years, they've supported one another through the highs and lows of motherhood. The series is a complex psychological thriller with a mystery at its core, exploring the nuances of female friendship and the pressures of parenting.
"Little Disasters" stars Diane Kruger, Jo Joyner, Shelley Conn, Emily Taaffe, JJ Feild, Ben Bailey-Smith, Patrick Baladi and Stephen Campbell Moore. The series was adapted for screen by Ruth Fowler and Amanda Duke, with executive producers Ash Atalla, Alex Smith and Marianna Abbotts for Roughcut Television, alongside Sarah Vaughan. Simon Judd executive produces for Fremantle, with Eva Sigurdardottir directing and Myf Hopkins serving as producer.
