NATPE unveils this year's Brandon Tartikoff Awards Presenters

The list of confirmed presenters includes Connie Chung, Kaley Cuoco, Robert Friedman, Pearlena Igbokwe, Sonequia Martin-Green, and Henry Winkler.

NATPE has announced the presenters for its 18th Annual Brandon Tartikoff Legacy Awards. Nancy O’Dell will host the gala dinner that will be held on June 2 at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel in Los Angeles. The list of presenters and corresponding recipients include Anchor and reporter, Connie Chung will present the award to storied talk show personality Maury Povich; Actress/producer Kaley Cuoco, will present to Warner Bros. Television Group Chairman, Channing Dungey, while Pearlena Igbokwe, Chairman, Universal Studio Group, will present to actress, comedian, writer, producer, and director Amy Poehler.

Robert Friedman, CEO, Bungalow Media + Entertainment will present to Eagle Equity Investment Partner and entertainment veteran, Jeff Sagansky, Actress Sonequa Martin-Green will present to film and television writer, producer, and director Alex Kurtzman, Actor Henry Winkler will present to Actor, Director, Producer, Writer, Recording Artist, and Horseman William Shatner;
Oscar, Emmy, Grammy and Tony Award-winner Whoopi Goldberg will be receiving her award virtually during the event.

 Named in honor of Brandon Tartikoff, one of the most esteemed programmers in the history of television, the Award was created to acknowledge a select group of television professionals who have demonstrated the highest degree of excellence in their field.  "The 2022 Tartikoff Legacy Award recipients are recognized for exhibiting their extraordinary passion, leadership, independence and vision through their diverse work in being a part of the creation and distribution of content for the world’s traditional and digital marketplaces," a press release reveals.

This will be the first time the Brandon Tartikoff Legacy Awards gala will take place in Los Angeles after previously being a part of the NATPE Miami Marketplace and Conference. The Brandon Tartikoff Legacy Awards are part of a series of events taking place during 2022 as part of the event's return to its physical form. This will include events in New York, Budapest, and Los Angeles. “On NATPE’s behalf, I want to thank this prestigious ensemble of presenters who are donating their time to honor the incredible lineup of storytellers and those who brings those stories to live and are honored tonight," JP Bommel said.
