Gusto TV has won two Special Achievement Honoree Awards and is nominated for two Viewer’s Choice Awards from the 15th annual Taste Awards. The company was awarded Best Set Design and Best in Canada for "Global Veggies" under the Special Achievement Awards. Gusto TV has now received a total of 14 Taste Awards.

"Global Veggies" is a vegetarian cooking show featuring the return of Chef Pino Di Cerbo. A ‘spiritual successor’ to the popular Gusto TV series VegHeadz, this upbeat, fun, and captivating show carries on the VegHeadz tradition of focusing on one plant-based ingredient per recipe. The twist? Now, each focused ingredient is prepared using signature flavors and techniques from a different country where it would be an unlikely visitor!

Gusto TV is also nominated for two Viewer’s Choice Awards, Best Studio or Production Company and Best Single Topic Series for "Global Veggies". The winners for the Viewer’s Choice Awards will be announced at the awards show on March 11 at the Writers Guild Theater in Beverly Hills.

"We’re honored to receive recognition from the Taste Awards and to be nominated in a variety of categories," said Chris Knight, President & CEO of Gusto TV. "The production of 'Global Veggies' involved a team of highly creative and talented individuals, so this award is an acknowledgment of their outstanding efforts," Knight continued. "Heartfelt thanks to the Taste Awards for appreciating our team's dedication and hard work."

The Taste Awards are the highest awards for creators of lifestyle programs, series, shows and cinema. Also known as “The Oscars of Food, Fashion and Lifestyle Media,” the Taste Awards celebrate the year’s best achievements in the lifestyle entertainment industry.
