Kids entertainment industry’s annual event Kidscreen Summit will return to the InterContinental Miami from July 18 to 21, 2022. In 2020, the last in-person Summit welcomed more than 2.000 attendees from more than 50 countries. Top executives will personally meet again this year to take advantage of this business networking opportunity, and to engage in critical dialogue on issues that affect the industry.
Kidscreen Summit offers unrivaled access to leaders in the international kids’ space by bringing together creators, buyers and distributors of children’s programming for meaningful pitching and networking. Moreover, the market will have panels and roundtable discussions, giving attendees practical insights into the business of children’s media from industry leaders and innovators.
Through facilitated networking sessions such as Speed Pitching, Coffee and Cocktails with…, Brainpick and Pitch Doctoring, attendees will find it easy to connect with potential partners and investors who can propel their business forward. This year, Kidscreen Summit aims to gather 2.200 delegates from all over the world. That figure includes producers (43%), creatives (16%), TV/SVOD buyers (12%), distributors (10%), and the rest are diverse executives from areas such as consumer products or digital media.
Regarding attendees by region, 31% of the total participants come from the United States, 19% from Canada, 19% from Europe, 10% from Asia Pacific, 9% from the UK, and the rest are from different parts of the world. Companies such as 9 Story Media Group, Federation Kids & Family, Pocket.Watch, Sesame Workshop, Studio 100, Boat Rocker, Canada Media Fund, Mattel, Netflix, WildBrain, and YouTube, among many others, are attending, as well as delegations from Spain, Brazil, Ireland, Italy, France, and Colombia, just to name a few.
