Mipcom 2021: ZDF reveals its content slate for the event

The titles set to be presented at the Market Screening in Cannes on Monday, 11th October include thrilling dramas, wildlife, and science to documentaries, entertainment, and children, the slate covers all genres.

ZDF Enterprises, Germany’s top distributor of TV content unveiled this year's line-up of new titles for Mipcom 2021. The catalog features all genres, including thrillers, wildlife and science documentaries, children, and entertainment, among various others.“These unprecedented times meant that many people have had to adapt to a new way of working, so I’m especially grateful to the producers for having delivered the fantastic range of shows that we’ll be launching in Cannes," Fred Burcksen, President and CEO, ZDF Enterprises, said. "And I’m delighted that we will be able to introduce our slate to clients in person as the team and I look forward to returning to MIPCOM.”

The titles the distributor will bring to the table at the Market Screening in Cannes on Monday, 11th October include "The Window," set to be presented at Auditorium A at the Palais des Festivals from 14.15 to 15.15, alongside author James Payne, producer Rolant Hergert and the Fuji TV and ZDF Enterprises team.  created and written by BAFTA and EMMY award-winning screenwriter James Payne and produced by German Boogie Entertainment and ZDF Enterprises, in co-production with Japanese Fuji Television Network and Belgian Velvet and Streamz. 

While the UK's Channel 4’s crime thriller "Before We Die," produced by Eagle Eye Drama, based on the eponymous noir Swedish series, is set to be presented alongside Start's co-production with Sreda, “Sherlock: The Russian Chronicles," and other titles which include the new wildlife series, “Rescued Chimpanzees of the Congo with Jane Goodall” “Ancient Superstructures” produced by Pernel Media in association with RMC Découverte, Histoire.

ZDF Enterprises, "Underworld," produced by Off The Fence for Curiosity Stream in co-production with ZDF Enterprises and Youku, in association with Wingsight, “Surprise, Supervise! The Prism is a Dancer Show." The CGI/3D-animated series “The Musketeers” “School of Roars, Scream Street” and “Zoom - The White Dolphin," and “School of Roars,” now 104 episodes, among many others, will be featured in the children's section of the catalog.
