Autentic Distribution heads to MIPCOM 2025 with a brand-new slate of documentaries, totalling over 80 hours of brand-new content. The line-up spans urgent current affairs, fresh historical perspectives, blue-chip wildlife, journeys across cultures, and cutting-edge science, bringing together standout productions from Autentic Studios and leading international partners.

Autentic Distribution’s current affairs slate includes "Still They Rise – Afghan Women Under the Taliban" (NZZ), which portrays how women in Afghanistan continue to pursue education and work despite the regime’s sweeping restrictions. "Game Over: The Fall of Credit Suisse" (Contrast Film) which reveals how greed and recklessness led to the collapse of a financial institution once deemed “too big to fail.” "Surviving Globalism" (SPIEGEL TV), asks how we can survive—and even thrive—in a globalized world, while "Cold War in Paradise – The Pacific Power Struggle" (Berlin Producers) uncovers the geopolitical battle for influence in the Solomon Islands.

This year’s history slate includes "Independence Dawn – The Forgotten Revolution" (Go Button Media with Autentic Studios), that uncovers the untold stories of men and women who risked everything for a new vision of freedom. "Between Hitler and Stalin: Europe’s Darkest Years" (Vincent Productions) examines how two dictatorships unleashed unprecedented mass violence across Eastern Europe, while "The Jungle Hospital – The Myth of Albert and Helene Schweitzer" (SMP Signed Media) reassesses the Schweitzers’ humanitarian legacy from both a European and African perspective. The richness of African history is reflected in "Archaeological Treasures of Nigeria" (SMP Signed Media), while "Antonio Salieri: Mastermind of Music" (Clever Content, Autentic Studios) follows actor Tobias Moretti as he retraces the life of a composer who shaped generations of musicians yet remains overshadowed by the enduring rumor that he poisoned Mozart. "Penguin Baywatch" (Terra Mater Studios & Saint Thomas Productions) follows charismatic king penguins in their extreme environment, while "Riddle in the Wind" (Terra Mater Studios, Saint Thomas Productions) uncovers how life on remote volcanic islands is shaped by human impact. "American Amazon" (Terra Mater Studios, Grizzly Creek Films) explores North America’s last swamp wilderness, home to panthers, orchids, and ancient cypress forests. "Shells – Within a Sheltered Spiral" (Terra Mater Studios, Rooted Media) dives into the dazzling world of seashells, biological treasures of vibrant colour and endless variety, and "Same Same – But Different" (Terra Mater Studios, Getty Images) reveals surprising evolutionary kinships and creatures that seem alike but are worlds apart. "Oslo – The Wild Heart of Norway" (Terra Mater Studios, Story Surge Films, Earthmedia Film) portrays thriving urban wildlife, while "Doñana – Spain’s Garden of Eden" (Terra Mater Studios, Wanda Films, Wanda Visión, Ukbar Filmes) captures one of Europe’s last great ecological reserves.

The People & Places line-up includes "Tattoos: Enigma of the South Pacific" (UFA Documentary) that uncovers the Marquesas Islands’ sacred intricate tattoos that embody status, spirituality, and identity. "Oman – Jewel of Arabia" (Vincent Productions) captures deserts, mountains, and coastlines through stories of people balancing ancient traditions with a vibrant modern spirit, while "Inside Pakistan" (Vincent Productions) portrays how daily life shaped by tradition and faith collides with a young generation’s desire for change. "Wild Galápagos: Life on the Islands" (doc.station) highlights the fragile coexistence of humans and wildlife as tourism intensifies, and "Uncovering Taiwan" (Berlin Producers Media) highlights the natural beauty and rich biodiversity of a country that remains overshadowed by geopolitical tensions. "Portugal’s Nature Parks II" (Kinescope) journeys into wild coasts and mountains, while "Exploring Europe by Night Train" (Molle & Korn, JYOTI Film) offers a cinematic journey along iconic rail routes.
