Ukrainian Content Global Cooperation (UC.GC) initiative will present leading media companies of Ukraine at LA Virtual Screenings (LAVS) to take place on June 7-16, 2022. The digital platform is the first online major venue for the global content industry, providing the best programming from worldwide distributors to international acquisition executives from more than 125 countries.
The UC.GC initiative continues to build partnerships worldwide to establish sustainable cooperation of the Ukrainian audiovisual industry on the global market during wartime and further. To get acquainted with some graphic content with a strong potential for international distribution produced by the UC.GC member companies one can attend LA Virtual Screenings 2022. “Ukrainian content is forthcoming for its wide international recognition yet, but we believe our stories will win hearts and minds in various territories. From the inner perspective, we aim to strengthen the business ties and share the narratives about Ukraine and Ukrainians. It is crucially important in the view of Russian propaganda trying to deny our right to exist for decades," Kateryna Udut, CEO of MRM, organizer of the UC.GC, stated.
"We want to be introduced to the people worldwide not only through the war optics, but through culture, history, and current everyday life; this is all our content is about. Some of the Ukrainian content to be featured in the LAVS will come from UA: PBC, FILM.UA Group, Starlight Media, Ukraine TV Channels, and 1+1 media. Ukrainian Content Global Cooperation is the joint initiative of key Ukrainian media companies aiming to enhance the collaboration of the Ukrainian AV industry globally for a better future.
