Content Americas has announced it will host a Turkish Programming Spotlight at the 2024 event, taking a deep dive into the companies and shows setting the pace in the Turkish content market as the new year begins. The Turkish Programming Spotlight will be a cornerstone of the Content Americas 2024 agenda, as leading players reveal their upcoming slates and discuss sales and coproduction opportunities.
It will be supported by Turkish Programming C21Screenings Special, which will profile the major companies and showcase new Turkish programming through a Digital Campaign published in January 2024. Confirmed companies include Eccho Rights, Global Agency, Inter Medya, Kanal D, MediaHub, and OGM Universe, with more to be announced shortly.
The event, which sold out in 2023, will welcome back comapnies such as Sony Pictures Television, Globo, RCN Estudios, TV Azteca, BTF Media, Comarex, Beta Films, Fremantle, Dori Media, OTTera, Media Hub, Great Movies, Polar Star, Screenbright, Secuoya Studios, and TV Film/TVN, with many more pending. Moreover, Content Americas has sealed a two-year deal with Worldwide Audiovisual Women Association (WAWA), which is bringing 20 companies on the biggest booth of the market floor of 1200sqft.
Content Americas 2024 will also host a Formats & Factual strand in the conference programme, with a set of sessions focused on developing international unscripted business across the three-day event, and the inaugural North American Hitmakers HOT100, an initiative designed to bring key US and Canadian programmers into the Miami mix in January. Moreover, the final of The Rose d’Or Latinos, a celebration of the best programming from across the Spanish-speaking world, and an extension of the heritage Rose d’Or awards brand, will also take place during Content Americas. There will also be a Content Americas Pitch Competition at the event in Miami 2024, with a prize of US$25,000-worth of marketing across C21’s platforms for the winning show.
Content Americas will take place at the renovated Miami Downtown Hilton between 23-25 January. For more information on the market, click here.
