ARTE Distribution's team will attend the 27th edition of the Unifrance Rendez-Vous in Paris bringing an exciting 2025 line-up full of intriguing in-depth programs. Aside from groundbreaking science titles, the line-up also displays a wide range of powerful documentaries inviting viewers to (re)discover the great figures, important and sometimes overlooked events that made History and current affairs programs that give them keys to understanding today’s world. This line-up includes music and cinema icons documentaries featuring some of the greatest stars of our time.
HIGHLIGHTS
"Ramesses Ii, Secrets of A Pharaoh" (3x52’), a playful ancient history program that goes back in time thanks to 3D visual reconstructions but also interviews with leading Egyptologists to find out all about Ramesses II.
"The Mystery of The Desert Kites" (52’& 90’), following a team of archeologists from around the world make extraordinary discoveries about the oldest megastructures in human history.
"Churchill, Roosevelt, Staline- The Impossible Peace" (52' & 90'), a contemporary history documentary about the US and how it tried to balance its democratic ideals with the practical considerations of its realpolitik during the Second World War.
"Robert Oppenheimer: The Impact"(52’ & 90’), a title recounting the story of the father of the atomic bomb, his downfall and his remorse with declassified FBI files.

"Our Brain Is Playing Tricks on Us" (2x52’), an investigation aiming to understand how our brain simplifies reality, leading to errors of judgement and illusions.
"Tiktok, The War of Data” (52’ & 90’) and “Oil Oligarchs Corrupting The West" (3x52’) are part of ARTE Distribution’s current affairs collection, full of in-depth programs giving necessary insights on the world of geopolitics.
Finally, the international program sales unit of the European public channel ARTE enriched its famous cinema icons and music collections with: "Glenn Close – A Feminist Force" (52’). The intimate portrait of an American actress always fighting for what she believes both on and off-screen. Additionally, the collections include "Kate Bush – The Timeless Genius" (52’), "Dolly Parton: America Reunited" (52’), and "Jimmy Sommerville – Small Town Boy" (52’), all of which tell the story of a timeless artist leaving their mark on the music industry.
