In its latest study about SVOD demand in Colombia, Parrot Analytics revealed which were the most outstanding series in the country during May. The company contextualized each title within the market by stating the show's performance as a difference from the average demand for a series in the market. A difference of 1x represents the market average and 10x means a series is ten times more in demand than the average TV show in this market.

The most in demand digital original series in Colombia in May 2020 was “Titans”. The live-action superhero series is originally from American platform DC Universe and is available to audiences in this country on Netflix.

Star Wars action series “The Mandalorian” was the second most demanded, maintaining 10.2x the demand of the average series in May. With “Star Wars: The Clone Wars,” it is one of two Disney+ original series in the Top 10 this month. Neither title will be officially available until Disney+ launches in Colombia in late 2020.

Netflix's “Narcos” reached sixth most demanded. The crime drama is no longer set in Colombia, but “Narcos: Mexico” season 2 still had 6.2 times the demand of the average series in this market. Netflix's Spanish series “La Casa De Papel” was also in the eight place of the Top 10. The fourth season of the heist series was released on April 4, and the show became Colombia's most demanded digital original that month.

Furthermore, there were two new animated series in the Colombian Top 10 this month: “The Midnight Gospel” and “She-Ra And The Princesses Of Power,” both from Netflix. The fifth and final season of children's cartoon “She-Ra” was released on May 15, leading to a surge in demand. Meanwhile, the first season of “The Midnight Gospel,” a surreal adult animation from the creator of “Adventure Time,” was released on April 20.
