The animated series produced by Darjeeling has been acquired by Italy's public broadcaster RAI and Canada's TFO and it had its debut on France Télévisions this month.
The first episode of the show performed 50% better than the average on Rai 2.The feelgood show is based on a format created by US producer JD Roth and produced in Italy by Casta Diva and Rai’s daytime entertainment division.
The territories across include: RTL Germany, RAI Italy, Amazon Netherlands (first window) and RTL Netherlands (second window), as well as VTM Belgium, and YES Israel. NBC Universal snapped up the six-hour drama for Brazil/Latin America and NOW TV for Hong Kong.
The series has already been sold to Cartoonito and Max in Brazil and Spanish-speaking LATAM, Prime Video in Spain and Portugal, Clan TVE (Spain), Rai Yoyo (Italy), TFO (Canada), TV2 (Hungary), Canal Panda (Portugal), and more.
