The company has sold natural history and Royal Family documentary titles to leading platforms in the region like DIRECTV Latin America, DGO, A+E Networks Latin America, AMC Selekt 4K, Globo and Teledoce in Uruguay.
Directv Latin America has acquired “Elon Musk’s Crash Course” from Red Arrow Studios International and will premiere the event documentary on both its linear channel and streaming platform Directv Go.
The multi-year deal will grant the company exclusive rights to offer the content across more than 300,000 sports bars, restaurants, hotel lounges, casinos and sports books, retail shops and services.
The new number makes YouTube TV the most significant internet pay-TV provider and the fifth-largest TV distributor of any kind in the U.S., behind Comcast, Charter, DirecTV, and Dish Network.
The addition, set to reach 99% of U.S. homes, will include locally produced, award-winning shows such as “Masterpiece,” "Antiques Roadshow,” “Frontline,” and “PBS Newshour,” among many others.
