The premium label, based in Germany, is set to kick-off later this year by the Award-Winning Executive Producer, known for “Das Boot” and “Freud.” The name of the new label will be announced at a later time.

The production had spent €3 million per year during the first and second series, and is now spending over €7 million to produce its third series in Malta.

The duration of the filming process for the title was 104 days in Prague and Malta. It will be created as a result of a partnership between Samsung and Cinemakers Film, featuring a 8k and Dolby Atmos soundscape.

The new series will be shot in 8K with Dolby Atmos surround sound completely immersing viewers in the drama set aboard a German submarine during WW2.
