Cineflix Rights has closed a deal with Hulu for “Rebecca,” the fast-paced, eight-part crime drama set in Paris and produced by Elephant for TF1. The deal follows recent sales of the series to Directv Latin America and Sky Brasil.
Elephant is going to produce “Rebecca,” a French adaptation of the international hit thriller “Marcella,” for TF1 in a deal with Cineflix Rights which also sees the distributor taking exclusive worldwide rights to the new series.
The French distributor added "God Save the Queen: Elizabeth II" produced by Elephant and Chrysalide and "Trump, the Art of the Deal and the FBI", produced by Pumpernickel Films and Allumage to its documentaries offer.
The series producer is Alexis Girardet and executive producer is October Films managing director Adam Bullmore. The commissioning editors for Channel 4 are Gilly Greenslade and Daniel Fromm.
