Banijay announced that Gestmusic, part of Banijay Iberia, has unveiled a new Barcelona-based production venue for the industry, specifically for creating virtual environments.

Banijay confirmed “Atrapa un millón” (The Money Drop) has been commissioned for a new run by Atresmedia after a seven-year hiatus. Gestmusic, a Banijay Iberia company, will once again produce the format.

The new social experiment, made in collaboration with Catalan Ministry of Culture for TV3, pairs tech-savvy millennials with older technophobes, as they attempt to enter the twenty-first century.

Gestmusic and Webedia’s programme has a strong digital presence and 1,200 hours of livestreaming across Twitch, YouTube and Atresmedia’s digital channels (Flooxer and Atresplayer Premium).
