Distributed by MBC and Fremantle, “The Masked Singer” has been the best-selling format for a third consecutive year in 2021, according to K7 Media’s annual report on the top 100 travelling unscripted TV formats.
Banijay announced the acquisition of two formats coming from Korea: dating and relationship format “Exchange” from CJ ENM, and strategic competition series “Bloody Games” from MBC.
Besides the co-production agreement, the company also secured deals with MBC in South Korea and Shenzhen TV in China, as well as TVNZ 2 in New Zealand and Atresmedia in Spain.
