The news platform offering shorter form content has already made its way to Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Luxemburg, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and UK.
The service will offer independent world cinema titles and classic movies from popular directors such as Hitchcock, Kurosawa, and Fellini, among various others.
The local adaptation will air on leading broadcaster Polsat. Produced by Montreux Film, the format previously aired on TV2 in Norway and boosted the channel’s average share by 20%.
The premium factual series is financed by Amcomri Productions and created and produced by Daniel Sharp, Founder and Executive Producer, Dash Pictures. It has been sold to Channel 5 in the UK and Northern Ireland, RTE in Ireland, SBS in Australia, Viasat World in the Baltics, CEE, Scandinavia and CIS, YLE in Finland, SVT in Sweden, NRK in Norway and VRT in Belgium.
